Etymology

    Blend of they +‎ AMAB (assigned male at birth), probably by analogy with earlier theyfab (2016). First uses date to 2019; TAMAB was used slightly earlier, though possibly in an unrelated sense. See Citations:theymab for additional context.

    1. (LGBTQ slang, derogatory, offensive) A non-binary person who was assigned male at birth, often one that does not change their physical appearance.
