Fascinate

Fascinate is one of two Arcanoi that can be used by Risen from Wraith: The Oblivion. Those who use Fascinate can affect the Quick by installing thoughts or desires into their minds.

Fascinate is one of two abilities limited to the Risen. As there are very few Risen, there are very few who know the secrets of this Arcanos. It seems like it has managed to survive in spite of these obstacles. As with many things Risen, the Puppeteers Guild is suspected of being involved, but if they are, they have covered their tracks effectively. It should be noted that Fascinate seems to have connections with both Keening and Intimation.

Basic Abilities

  • Tuning In: A Risen may get a tune stuck in a target's head.
  • Deja Vu: A Risen can make their visage seem familiar to a person they have never met before.

Standard Powers

  • Distraction: A Risen may force a target to remember something else that they must do.
  • Remembrance: A Risen can implant a simple thought or idea in a target's mind.
  • Charge of Duty: A Risen may force their target to focus on a single, simple concept.
  • Driving Urge: A Risen can create a mild obsession in a target.
  • Target Lock: A Risen may force a target to focus on a single thing or person to the point of extreme obsession.

Alternate Powers
