Way of the Soul
The Way of the Soul is an Arcanos unique to the wraiths of the Dark Kingdom of Jade. Unlike the Arcanoi native to the Yellow Springs that base themselves on Confucian teachings, the Way of the Soul is based on Taoist beliefs. Those who use these abilities can master their own p'o, but not those of others. Users of the Way of the Soul are sometimes known as Doctors.
The Way of the Soul is close to the Western art of Castigate.
Basic Abilities
- Negotiation: A Doctor can calm their p'o.
Standard Powers
Coax: This ability functions the same as the Castigate art of the same name.- Nullify Thorns: A Doctor can stop their p'o from using one of their Thorns.
- Give Higher Passions: A Doctor may attempt to replace a p'o's Dark Passion with one of their Passions.
- Alter Demeanor: A Doctor can alter their p'o's Archetype, including regular ones as well as Shadow based ones.
- Inner Peace: A Doctor may join with their p'o and act as one.
