Titgwai Gang
The Titgwai or Train Track Gang is a Tokyo gang of Chinese immigrants and Japanese petty criminals that worship the creature known as the Tek-Tek.
Overview
The Tek-Tek devoted herself to helping the people of Shinjuku via the ghost trains, which could grant them new lives elsewhere. Unfortunately, some unknown being suborned her work, sending back creatures known as kishamono, more selfish and violent doppelgängers of the people they replace.
In an effort to gain the strength to overcome this being, the Tek-Tek recruited a man named Wong Ng to build a cult in her name, so as to glut on their worship. The Titgwai was Ng’s answer.
More than just worship the former ghost, the Titgwai keep an eye on the kishamono for her, profiting off of their vices and occasionally eliminating them if necessary. The rest of their resources come from burglary of the wealthy.
Organization
Led by Wong Ng, whom the Titgwai call “Comrade Five”, the rest of the higher-ups are comprised of Ng’s three lieutenants (the “Threes”) and those lieutenants’ enforcers (the “Nines”). The Nines then supervise the neophytes.
