References
- ↑ In 1997, White Wolf licensed the World of Darkness name and logo to Capcom for use on the third arcade game in the Darkstalkers series. That game, which was originally titled Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire for its Japanese release, was localized for arcades in North America as Vampire Savior: World of Darkness. The arcade game and its promotional materials prominently featured the White Wolf logo and trademark; additionally, the English-language release of the Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge anime series also bore notifications that "World of Darkness" was a trademark of White Wolf. Aside from the branding, however, Vampire Savior is not considered part of the World of Darkness setting.
