Companionship
The Contracts of Companionship are a group of Contracts associated with providing aid to others, usually children, through some item (the “comfort object”) used as a focal point. They are commonly utilized by the Companions of the Resigned.

Provisional Aid: Through physical contact with an affected comfort object, the caster may boost the target’s rolls to resist breaking points.![]()

Heartwarming Comfort: The comfort object provides physical comfort in the form of warmth.![]()

Transference: The targeted child is provided a bulwark against the effects of privation, being capable of going longer without eating. In exchange, the caster may make a request of the child.![]()

Objective Idealism: The caster grants the target either a bonus toward the next Clarity or equivalent roll or helps prevent the formation of persistent mental Conditions.![]()

The Good: The targeted child gains a bonus toward rolls to avoid forming persistent mental Conditions. Meanwhile, the changeling rolls on behalf of the child when a present Condition is triggered.
