쓰레기 매립지는 폐기물의 영구 혹은 장기적 저장을 위한 장소입니다.
쓰레기들은 묻히거나, 덮이거나, 그저 쌓여있기도 합니다.
장소들은 폐쇄 이후에도 관리되며, 쓰레기로부터 발생하는 가스가 이용되기도 합니다.
이 태그는 매립지로서의 특징을 확인할 수 있다면 적용되어야 합니다.
만약 폐기물(건설폐기물 등)이 다시 사용되는 경우, (e.g. for recreational purposes) 지하에 묻힌 폐기물을 나타내기 위해 lifecycle prefixes가 사용될 수 있습니다. landuse=*는 현재의 사용 상태를 나타낼 수 있습니다.
